Pounds and pence, not vague percentages
Since January 2025, any planned yearly rise has to be spelled out in an exact pound-and-pence figure when you sign up.
Your way out if that didn't happen
If a network applies a rise it didn't properly disclose in those terms, you're entitled to leave penalty-free within 30 days of being told.
How long a contract can legally run
24 months is the ceiling for an initial term, across every network on this site.
Unlocking your phone
Since December 2021, every handset a UK network sells has to come unlocked from the start.
Taking a complaint further
Give the network six weeks to sort it. After that, you can escalate for free — the Communications Ombudsman usually covers EE, O2, and Sky Mobile; CISAS usually covers Vodafone, Three, and iD Mobile.
A quick note on who we are: neylscout (neylscout.online) is run by independent researchers, not by any mobile network. We write about Three, O2, EE, Tesco Mobile, Vodafone, Sky Mobile, and iD Mobile because people ask us about them — none of these companies sponsor us, pay us, or have any say in what we publish. We are not a reseller and we never sell airtime, SIMs, or contracts through this site, and you won't find a single price on these pages, because prices move too often for us to keep accurate. If you ring the number on this site or fill in our form, you'll reach our own small team — never a network's official support desk, and never anyone able to touch your account. Every brand name and logo colour you see here belongs to the company it names; we use them only so you can tell which network a page is about, not to suggest any partnership. Treat everything here as a starting point for your own research, and check the final word with the network directly before you commit to anything.
